The saga of the pups 81

The saga of the pups is still going strong! Yes, the pups have been walking separately. It has been extremely helpful to do that. Both have settled in such a beautiful way; the weather has not been the best at all. However, miss Dot, had an opportunity to go swimming in the lakes a couple of times. Yes, the girl loves the water, I have gone with Mac and without Mac.  Both times it has been a lot of fun, she is such a great swimmer she loves the water. She is like a fish in the water, Mac loves to stay …

The saga of the pups 80

We are starting with a new story. Mac, my little boy, became a lover boy… Yes! I have been walking both separately. Yesterday we went for Mac’s short walk, yes! He is not going to walk 10 miles more or less; a couple will be sufficient for him. However, as we were ready to go on the trailer, we saw a man with his dog. It was a cute dog I must say, Mac noticed the dog. To my surprise he decided to follow them, so off we went several feet behind. I was hoping he would lose interest but …

The saga of the pups 79

We had a blast! The pups have been resting since this morning. Yes! Both troublemakers have actually been sleeping most of the day… they have been running and having fun for the last three days. It has been great; the weather has been better for us to do something. Spring is finally showing we are closer and closer to it. Even though it snowed earlier this morning the weather has been wonderful. The pups are sleeping again on the sofa this time. Mac is feeling the effect of daylight-savings time. But all is well, tomorrow we are going back to a new routine, …

The saga of the pups 78

Ah, finally the pups are behaving!! Yes, no walk of shame for me today! I was hoping these little monsters would be behaving while being in a different playground. This time it pays off, as I was picking them, I asked the person from the front desk if any one of them got into trouble. To my relief I was told no, they did not have a time out! I started to smile it looks like they finally got the message. As I was speaking with her the pups were brought to me to my surprise, they were not overly …

The saga of the pups 77

Let’s try this again! I just sent the pups to doggy daycare today in the hope they will behaved while mama needs a little break and healing. After a few days having a little too much fun on the tennis court and the baseball field. It has been great to start to train Miss Dot, this little girl felt a little ignored when Mac is taking over our world. I have been resetting the balance, she has realized she is not second best but as much loved as he is. She is still a little chippie when it comes to taking …

The saga of the pups 76

The saga of the pups is the life of two rescue dogs who were on death row in Texas. They had little or no chance to be adopted. They had all the odds against them, somehow, they were spotted by a rescue group who got them out of there. Mac already was giving up on life, Dottie was so stressed out that she will continue to carry that anxiety for the rest of her life. Both met at their foster mom’s, they become inseparable. Their adventures had just begun, it would take them 2 days in the van that transported …

Saga of the pups 75

Finally, we have stepped into March, leaving behind February. We are ready to enjoy a better weather. Today was a good day, the pups had a little trip to the vet. This time around Dottie had to go inside by herself. She was scared because Mac, her buddy, who is always by her side had to stay back in the car with me. Mac was worried when he was left behind, he started to cry and his faced show a lot of concern. It took the vet 20 minutes before he released her. During that time, I had to entertained …

The saga of the pups 74

So, after my epic fall on the ice last Friday! I took the little ones to doggy daycare for a break but also need some help from my chiro which I am sooo glad to know. I thought those little monsters of mine would be behaving. Well, my hope got crushed when I came and picked them up, they are being listed as troublemakers… Yes! It seems like both are starting to run like mad cows and got some timeout. By the sound of it, it wasn’t one time but multiple times… I had to do the walk of shame …

The saga of the pups 74

It is funny Dot is making a lot of friends right now, as she is making her presence known to the other dogs. She met two new dogs yesterday, also those two dogs were vocal and not friendly at first but through the fence they become friendly. The dog next door is calling her, as kids they are eager to go outside and run alongside of each other. It is actually funny to watch them doing it, as the weather is cooler she decided to not stay long outside. I feel like the concierge for both today, yes, every half …
