The saga of the pups 147

Enjoying the pups, we had an interesting Sunday. When we arrived at the field no lights where on. It was a little hairy at first but as we drove to the parking lot the lights when on automatic. We managed to go inside the field ready to get started. Mac is my little alarm; he is my watcher. I looked at the direction he was barking and saw one and then a second coyote. They were far from the field, however; they stopped and looked in our direction. Mac, Dottie and Loulou where staring at them. Dottie was, even to …

The saga of the pups 146

The saga of the pups is still going strong, we are enjoying our morning rise. I have found my tennis racket, to be honest it is making my life easier. Let the fun begin; it works like a charm actually. Loulou is chasing the ball further. Which equals to more burning energies, Dottie chewing her ball is still chasing the one for Loulou. It is again equal to burning energy and getting her run, while Mac is just chilling around, he doesn’t chase he just lays down or walks around the field. Watching what is going on in the parking …

The saga of the pups 145

The saga of the pups never stops, with a lot of fun! Enjoying the field today was no exception. Loulou was so funny running between Dottie and Mac who were at the opposite end of the field. Trying to figure out who was the most fun. It is good because Loulou has a lot of energy, morning is the idyll time for him to start with. This little troublemaker is also very smart. We had a lot of fun for sure, we went for a walk afterward with everyone. Mac tried again to turn around, but I did not budge …

The saga of the pups 144

Finally, the weather is cooling off, I forgot to take a jacket this morning. The wind felt very good and again Loulou was more like a mad cow. Trying to take down Mac, chasing the ball. It was great! Loulou is an extremely smart dog, yesterday we were on the field. I could not see the ball, so I asked him to find it. It did not took long for him to go and get the ball. I never trained him or asked that command before. He is a great dog, too smart for his own good at times. We …

The saga of the pups 143

The pups are having such a great time on the field, every day there is something new with them. Dottie is the outfield guard. She loves to patrol the exterior parameters of the field. Loulou is the runner spending his time chasing after the ball. Mac is the cool kid hanging around, taking his sweet time to lay down on the grass and enjoying his morning sunrise. Our walks are becoming interesting with Mac, it depends how he feels. He would follow us or not. Breakfast time is a challenging task for Loulou, he is in that phase that he …

The saga of the pups 142

I have to write about Mac, I think I should give him the Oscar for faking pain. So, yesterday, the poor boy had Loulou going for his weak front leg at the field. Loulou is a baby “savage”. He knows how to strike, and Mac is no exception to his game. Dottie however is not, which is good… So back to Mac the big baby. He was sitting most of the time on the grass while Loulou and Dottie where running around. It was time to leave Mac came towards me lumping. I took the time to give him a …

The saga of the pups 141

I have to laugh when we are going into the field in the morning. To be honest, the pups love it very much. It gives them a chance to run like mad cows. It is early morning, so I have to spot the pups on the field as well. Loulou and Mac are always easy to spot in the dark because Loulou is the most vocal pup when he is trying to take down Mac. However, Dottie had her own path. She loves to go on the outside edge of the field sniffing other dogs’ scents. We are now staying …

The saga of the pups 140

The saga of the pups just keeps on giving, we are having a lot of fun. This morning we went back to the tennis court. Loulou, as usual, tried to be the boss of Mac. I had to split the kids because Loulou was a little too much.  This is what happens when the baby, baby thinks he runs the show. We had a good time walking, the four of us. It has been great to do Instagram and Tick Tock videos of the kids.  Tomorrow we are going to the field not the tennis court. I think the kids …

The saga of the pups 139

The kids are so funny, so Loulou is in the phase of not wanting to eat in his bowl. He is acting up which means I have to change the spot where he eats. This happened with Mac and Dottie around the same age. It is funny to watch Loulou doing the same pattern. So, for now he is eating near Mac. But again, he is fussy, so patience is required. It is like dealing with kids when you are trying to make them eat vegetables. It was raining last night, I decided to not go to the tennis court …

The saga of the pups 138

I am now writing today about dog owners. Walking my pups every day I am always mindful of other dogs. Which means I will keep my dogs at a distance from them. However, I have noticed other dog owners are not reciprocating that approach. For the past couple of days this has been happening, and today wasn’t an exception. I was walking Dottie and Loulou when I noticed a dog and its owners were several yards away from us. I was monitoring them knowing Dottie would be overly protecting us. As I started to speed up a little more to …
