Moving forward

As we are going to shift into a new year it is time to claim who we truly are. Not the mask we wear to fit in. It is time to make radical changes in our own lives. I have shifted my focus to what I truly would like to focus on. The opportunities are coming our way when we are willing to go into the unknown. Staying in what is familiar to us might not bring us the growth we need in our lives. Having jumped into the unknown lately and let perfect synchronicity in my life. It has …

The saga of the pups 107

As the temperature is plummeting, we are confined at home… This could turn out to be a nightmare or the greatest opportunity. Only a few minutes to be outside every couple of hours can test the best of us. However, the pups are adjusting very quickly. Since Loulou has still an issue with healing it has been an actual blessing not going and playing in the snow. His wound has healed which makes me very happy! Now let’s talk about the dynamics in the house. We are bowling with tennis balls so Loulou and Dottie can chase after them. Loulou …

The journey of the unknown

Radical acceptance is being able to embrace the decision we are making. Not settling for something too familiar that will not elevate us to the next experience. It is going head’s on into the unknown, it is taking a leap of faith not knowing what will be happening next. This happens when we are starting a new life, a new job, a new business. We might have an idea of what to expect next, however; we never truly know when we are walking on our path. The life of the thousand is the life of transformation. We might be open …

Driving on ice

Ah, the joy of a winter advisory! To be honest it is gorgeous if you do not have to commute somewhere. For a couple of decades, I had to get up early and drive under that nice white fluffy snow. I remember one year we had frigid temperatures. It was not only snow but pure shiny ice and not an inch but about three inches. I was going to work extremely early I wasn’t completely awake. I would say my car was driving me that morning, as I was on my merry way not a lot of traffic was on …

The saga of the pups 106

It is winter wonderland here and I must say the last snowstorm did drop a lot of snow. Now the adventures continue with the pups. Loulou had to go back to the vet this week. The boy had one of his stitches that popped. To make it even better since he is like the bunny energizer and cannot stop it made it a little bit worse. We discovered at the vet he had a secondary infection due to the stitches. This is not going to stop him at all… We went this morning to the field where I can let …

My life

We are a couple of weeks away from the new year. I have had a blast for the past week, a lot of things are moving in the right direction. I am looking outside I am appreciating what I am seeing. The majestic view of the snow on the trees. It truly looks like a hallmark picture; a lot of things are in motion right now. I am glad I made the right decision for myself and the pups. It has been a challenging year but when you are learning what or who is your kryptonite. You have to make …

What a year!

It has been a challenging year with a lot of tests and challenges. It also has shown how much growth I have gone through. In time of drought, I have found the resilience to continue to push forward without any signs that show somehow, I would be provided for. It is not easy to keep faith, however with stubbornness and a zest of determination we can accomplish so much more. I had to make heartbreaking decisions that were necessary for me to move forward. Knowingly if I was not about to do it, it would have cost me where I …

The saga of the pups 105

Another day, another adventure with the pups! Loulou got his surgery this week. I was planning on having him go through it next week. Lucky for him they had an opening this week. So, as he went through it Mac & Dot had a day of relaxing and fun! We dropped him off at the vet that morning, it was a chaotic scene. Mac & Dot thought they were going to doggy daycare. Loulou thought it was a party time for him… We had to wait a little longer to get him checked in. Dottie started to freak out a …

Traveling in our journey

As I am looking at this busy week I had, it is nice to finally slow down for a few minutes. The pups are asleep. They have been to the field twice today. They truly enjoy running like chickens without heads, while I was enjoying the fresh cool air. It is time also to see what is coming up next year! It is going to be busy. To start with Alignable group. I am preparing to have master classes at the beginning of the year. The chamber of Commerce is also going to be hosting some of the master classes …

The saga of the pups 104

We braved the winter storm yesterday. The pups had a little blast walking in the snow, it was not bad in the morning. By the time I came back home in the afternoon it was way too cold to even think of going for a walk. We settled for the grass across the driveway. Mac was a little excited, but the temperature made him change his mind. This morning we went outside, and the wind was frigid, however I decided to convince Mac for a little walk on the trail. Yeah! Bad idea on this one for sure, I avoided slipping …
