Being grateful in the midst of changes

I am laughing!  We are still enjoying the evening and the most fun part of it is the kids sleeping on the bed, while I am watching the TV and writing my blog. Yes, I know, to many irons in the fire, but what would it be without so many things to do? Looking for a busy week with a lot of activities and fun to do. I have had a great time this week with the life of a wild roller coaster. Yes, some days I would love to have nothing more then a cake walk. But it is …

The saga of the pups 98

Ah, the adventure of the pups a never-ending story. So, we had a good week at home. Loulou has created trouble by going non-stop after Mac. Yes, I believe Loulou thinks Mac is a big toy. Always in his way, trying to jump on him non-stop. The poor boy cannot catch a break only at nap time of at night when Loulou is asleep. However, sending both Mac & Dot to doggy daycare gives a break to my big baby Mac. I still have them one day at home all of them, going to the tennis court. Dottie chasing the …

After Halloween Park

We are finally having a little reprieve today from the blistering cold we have experienced. The sun has been present and the temps are going higher. Yes, we are not experiencing summertime anymore but at least the feel of winter, is for a moment, not upon us. As the sun is going down, I am ready to enjoy a quiet evening at home. Nothing extraordinaire just a moment of quietness. It is nice to be able to rest without stressing or running around. Being in a quiet mode is what I need right now. The year end is approaching quickly, …

Winter wonderland

We are moving quicker into the winter season than expected! We had such a great few days of warm temperatures, looking at the beautiful, colorful leaves. I had the pleasure of seeing amazing colors from bright yellow to red. I am always amazed by the fall coat the trees are displaying for us. Therefore, it is so important to be in the present moment, so we do not miss how beautiful Mother Nature is. It is truly an inspiring time for me. But today feels like winter as the snowflakes are flying lightly from the sky. It was a beautiful …

The saga of the pups 97

What would be my day without talking at least once a week about the pups? It would be a day without sunshine! So, the pups are going to doggy daycare. It was fun to drop Mac & Dot off, while I had to restrained Loulou to go inside. Yes! The little one had to stay with me. He had a meltdown in the car wanting to go there and crying all the way back home. Thank God! It was a very short drive home… We had a long walk in the morning enough to make him tired. When we went …

Halloween

I had a great conversation this week with my friend Kristin Spencer. If you do not know who she is, I would highly recommend you check her out. She is a ghostwriter; it is a fascinating world to explore. Every time I speak with her it is like stepping into the magical world of co-creation. It is so inspiring to be able to connect with right minded people. Surrounding ourselves with positive people that will elevate us to the next level. It is great to be challenged intellectually with such great spirited people. So, it was a good week, meeting …

Back to a routine

It has been a great week with a lot of things on my “to do” list done. The weather has been great until today. If feels like fall has spread its wings reminding us, we are moving towards wintertime. Our bodies are not ready to adjust yet. Yes, even the temps have dramatically cooled off I am still wearing a summer dress under my jacket. My mind is not ready yet to make the switch at all. The week has been full of adventures from going to an in-person’s event which is great! To have the pups back on a …

The saga of the pups 96

Let’s talk about the pups, yes! I know this is my favorite subjects of all time. The kids aka Mac & Dot restarted doggy daycare only half days. It was easy for Mac to adjust but Miss Dot is always a different story. Trust is a big issue for her so while she went and did the assessment the team felt she needed more one on one with Mac and them. I was relieved based on the experience they had last year; they both would not want to go back to another doggy daycare. The first day, to be honest, …

Leadership reminder

I had such a great time with Ross on my podcast talking about leadership behaviors. A lot of people do not know how to behave in their own life even less in a corporate world. This was a great topic we are going to continue to talk about it next month. Yes! Ross is coming back next month I think we need to remind leaders about behaviors. It is very easy to learn or go back to hold habits that can be detrimental to anyone. Early refreshers should be a good thing to do, even keeping post-it notes with some …

Time to co-create

I was looking this year to go back to “Valley Scare”, it looks like they changed the theme to be more family oriented. Which is too bad because the evening we went it was just a blast. The theme of each of the places we went was amazing. It was funny to watch the girls on the front of us screaming at every turn. This year they decided to be more tricks or treats, I am curious if they are going to give away candy for free. Will see if I am inspired to go there again. Fall is a …
