Being able to use unconditional love to derail your ego is quite interesting. I started that challenge in order to keep my energy level higher trying to avoid sending negativity into the world.
It has proven to be a great experience. I am in week two of that thirty-day challenge, but I must say what a change. When you can disengage from spinning down the rabbit hole letting your ego lead the way to a rampage or tantrum. You can feel grounded even smiling, while sending blessings toward the person or situation that may have upset you.
It is truly a 180-degree turn compared to the old version of me who would have been on a warpath just to make a point. I am like everyone else a “work in progress” but finding that I can switch my focus to unconditional love is a remarkable “ahah” moment.
Discipline and focus need to be there as well. You always have to remind yourself when situations can change in a negative way to consciously send unconditional love. It may not be easy to do it at first, but it is like everything else when you are starting to do something new. You may be surprised how much your surroundings are improving.
You can also find yourself being rewarded by the Universe from someone giving you a gift that you were not expecting or to be invited for lunch by someone you have not seen forever.
Doing this challenge has been, for those two weeks a great experience, opening my eyes on the synchronicity of the Universe as well as recognizing we can continue to elevate ourselves to achieve peace in our lives.
Regardless of who is challenging you, being able, with an open heart to send unconditional love is a wonderful feeling. Most of us will refuse to do that, but for a moment if you are willing to improve your life it is the acceptable way to go. You should think twice before you send negativity into this world. Remember what you are projecting will come back to you twice.
It is better to send unconditional love, so you can receive it back. Life is too short for continually fighting with each other. We have our own live purpose to deal with. We do not need more chaos in our lives.
