“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing” – George Bernard Shaw
Have you ever noticed that people around you can look 10, 20 even 30 years younger? That is because they still have their candid spirit.
I met one of the most beautiful people a few years ago “The Grande Duchesse”. While working there I loved to come in early in the morning when nobody was in the office except the Grande Duchesse.
We had so much fun, laughing, singing, dancing you name it we did it. We had about one hour at least before people would start to show up. It was the best time, we were like kids, she has such a candid spirit.
The first time I saw her, I saw her candid spirit. Just a beautiful soul, an extremely elegant lady. But you could also feel her warrior spirit. I just love her dearly, she is still part of my circle of light.
She looks so young and outgoing it is amazing to see such a beautiful soul connected to her inner child.
She is an inspiration to me, if you look around you, you should be able to see who looks younger because of their playful spirit. Who looks older it feels like they are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders.
We need to make sure we can continue to play when we are getting older. Life has its challenges, but we need to stay connected with our inner child. If we are not playing, we are not living. We need to make sure to have some playtime for us.
Do something fun today with your mate or your family. You do not have to spent thousands of dollars to do it. You can be creative and work with what you have at home.
Turn off the TV, social media, go outside and play.
