How to Make time for your spirit

ClockLately I have been speaking a lot about being grounded. We need to make time for ourselves, even if it is only thirty minutes a day. We can always find a way if we really want to give us the boost of energy we need.

While you are driving to work instead of listening to something that will make us even more stressed or upset turn the channel to music. If you have not created a play list maybe take the time to start to download music that makes you happy, lifting your spirit. Something that will give you an extra kick in your step!

There is so much turmoil in this world right now, we need to stay grounded. Music is a great start.  If you like books you can always listen to one online again it is good for your mind and keeps your imagination going.

No need to look at social media just enjoy a moment to unwind.

I have been challenging myself to stand still for one hour right now outside. Just to enjoy it sitting on my zero-gravity chair. It was a challenge at the beginning, I am not used to standing still unless I am meditating.

I had to learn to quiet my mind and body to finally see and hear the surroundings while sitting on the chair. Now I need to be outside every day otherwise I am not happy. Some days I will pass the hour other days I will make it to forty-five minutes. But it is a great challenge because we are so much on the go that we are forgetting to stop and “smell the roses”

When I am on my chair I do not think about what I need to do next instead I am learning to quiet myself for a moment. Just enjoying my surrounding, it sounds nice but for some of us who are always on the go it is an interesting challenge.

Make time for your spirit.
