It can be intimidating at time when you meet individuals who have a strong spirit. But there is nothing wrong about it either. People who have strong spirits are the worrier, they are bold. They can get things done, they are candid spirits, ready to do mischief.
You can always count on them when they are seeing injustice around them. They are the ones to make it right. Fighting for what is right, they are the trailblazers. From small or big changes, they are the drivers, the inspiration behind it.
When working with them you need to be able to speak up. If you don’t speak up or tip toe around a subject, they are losing interest very quickly, to the point of being annoyed by the other party. You need to learn to be direct.
Sometimes individuals think they are trouble makers, in fact when you are speaking with them, you can quickly realize they are going to ask questions. Some people feel threatened when in positions of power, by someone who has a strong spirit. The strong spirit will have some inquiries about the directions that are being given. It should be understood, we are not robots. We should be able to ask questions; open communications bring results.
Not all decisions are the best decisions, a think tank can be helpful. Working without a full understanding why we are doing something doesn’t make sense either.
Someone who has a strong spirit should be able to express themselves, they should not be hiding it either. If you are working somewhere and you cannot express your thoughts especially when you know the ideas that are currently circulating are not working for a company, you are not in the place you should be.
Innovation comes from a pod of people who can communicate. Anyone who is managing should be able to be grounded enough to see not everyone should be treated as a threat. By doing so, you are missing on great opportunities to help your company and improve the work you are doing.
I bow to all of the strong spirits out in this world, you are much-needed to speak out and let your voice heard.
