As a young child I always used to go into my imaginary world to escape my reality.
I have kept this habit all my life. What I loved with my little paradise was the peacefulness.
As we are running our lives 200 miles an hour, we need to find the reprieve to escape for a moment. I use my imagination to do it.
My little paradise is a place that is peaceful, near the ocean with a pristine blue color. To make it even better the water is warm. The sand on the beach is beautiful, I can see it from where I am sitting on a swing set. My feet up on the wooden rail. The porch where I am currently enjoying the view is open to the breeze. The salty air I am breathing feels good, I am watching a boat for a while. It is quiet, I can only hear the wind in the trees.
This peaceful moment of silence reinvigorated me. It is a time when I can finally let my imagination run.
I can see the beautiful surroundings, including the path that leads me to the beach house. It is quiet, nothing can distract me.
My little paradise is my get away from home, from this world. As my focus is on the porch, near me is a table with some fresh fruits and lemonade. The sun is moving slowly, the breeze is picking up. I can now smell the food, I am starting to be hungry.
I am slowly moving, stretching before I get up. I look towards the trail, I can see the smoke from the outside kitchen, I can smell a fish being grilled. I am walking bare feet toward the garden; the aroma of the herbs is getting stronger. I am ready to enjoy a nice meal.
As I am visualizing this moment, my body is completely relaxed. It is time to continue to enjoy my little paradise for a while.
What is your little paradise? If you don’t have one what are you waiting for to create one?
