Trying to let go of our anger can be challenging at times. But we need to be able to do it. Living with anger and resentment is like having an anchor tied to our ankle.
Why would someone do that? You are not moving forward, you are spending most of your time re-living the past over and over. It doesn’t help you to live in the past. What is done is done, there is nothing you can do to change what happened, but you can change the present by releasing that energy to the Universe. The Universe will transmute it into positive energy and send it back to you.
Seeing a loved one living in that state of mind is difficult, but we cannot do anything until they are willing to let it go. Nothing will change in their lives, it is a heavy burden to carry. I do like the expression “I do not carry the weight of the world on my shoulders” which is true, I do not carry it neither will I volunteer to do it.
We all have experienced, at some point in our lives, pain, betrayal and heartaches. Some where life changing events that took years to heal, some are still in the healing process.
Living in a constant state of anger is harming our physical body. When we start to release the grip that impacts us in a negative way, our body is starting to heal, peace is coming into our lives. A shift is starting to happen, we are feeling lighter in our steps, heart and mind.
As we are learning to listen to our bodies we can detect when something is not in synchronicity. We can, by our behavior, start to feel we need to bring ourselves into a state of peacefulness.
We have a choice, we can continue to live with those ghosts or we can rewrite our destiny by letting go of them and stepping up into a brand new blank canvas. We are the master of our own destiny. Do you think you are?
