Are we here yet?

patiencePatience is a virtue that can be extremely difficult at times to master.
As children we can learn it, but it can be quickly forgotten when we are in an ecstatic situation.
For example, on a car trip. If you are traveling with young children, it can be challenging to drive for several hours.
Your car can turn into a war zone if one of them decides to push the others’ buttons to the point of starting a fight.

As young adults we are also in the predicament to lose it, especially if you have applied for colleges and are waiting eagerly by the mailbox to see if you got accepted.

Patience can be mastered if we take the time to ground ourselves and breathe deeply to slow down our thoughts.

Even though we have been in training as young children to master that virtue, we are still challenged by it every day.

If you have done a vision board for this year, you could have been eager to start to work on it. Sometimes you must be patient because the Universe must have everything in perfect synchronicity to make it happen.
This is where patience comes in handy, we always must remind ourselves this is not our own time but the Universe’s time when we are co-creating.

It can take few months or longer to get to the desired outcome we would like to have.
We can be pouting or plainly having a tantrum because our desires have not materialized fast enough. We can be gently reminded with a love touch from the Universe to be patient.

We also need to remember, we are living in a society where instant gratification is the norm.  We want everything now… The Universe will not oblige by our demands but will respond when everything we are co-creating aligns perfectly after all who would like a half car instead of a new car?

As we go through life we need to continue to work on this virtue, patience.
