As my journey is unfolding, I am finding myself in the middle of a storm. Navigating around the obstacles that present to me. I am asking the Universe to guide me along the way. Braving this storm has proven to be challenging. The darkness I am traveling under has been treacherous, the water has been unforgiving.
As I am paddling through these troubled waters, I can feel the help of the Universe guiding me. Also, I can sense I am not alone, I still have this lingering feeling I am alone. Facing the decision to continue my journey. I do not want to give up, I came so far, it is not an option at this point.
I have to reach deep in my core and in my soul to find the strength I need to continue paddling. I am tired, my muscles are hurting, but I must continue, this is my destiny. As I am paddling, I find a place on the bank of the river where I can get some rest. As I pull by the edge of the river, I can see there is a small cabin just a hundred yards away.
I jump out of my boat; the water is waist high. I am pulling the boat onto the shore, I am walking slowly towards the cabin. I can see some lights, smoke is coming out of the chimney. I can smell food, I am hungry, I have not eaten for the past day.
I am exhausted, I look like a wet dog. As I approach the cabin, the door opens, an old man is standing in the door way. He is smiling, waving at me to come in. As I walk in, the warm air from the fire embraces me. I can smell the food; my stomach is growling. He invites me to sit at the table, as I am going toward the table, I notice the beautiful chimney made of wood and yellow stone.
The Cabin is spacious. Although it looked small from afar it is quite the contrary. There are beautiful handmade blankets, the decoration is rustic and peaceful. As I am looking around, the old man is bringing a warm plate of food. While I am eating, I feel the warmth of the food comforting and energizing. Now I can feel the energy slowly coming back even though I am still feeling a bit exhausted.
After the meal, I am guided to a bedroom where I find fresh sets of clothes. I can finally take a warm bath and put on dry clothes. I am too exhausted to go back in the dining room, I lay down quietly and fall asleep. As I wake up to the smell of fresh biscuits and eggs, I stretch my body slowly, thanking the Universe for finding me shelter during this time of tribulations.
