How can we help our world this year?

LoveAs we are enjoying what we have, there are others that are less fortunate and have very little. What can we do to help them?

Focus on giving back to your community wouldn’t that be a wonderful start for this year? If you can afford to give money, please do it. Find a reliable charity that will help your community. If you cannot financially afford it, maybe you could give some hours volunteering.

There are also animals that need our help. You can foster them, give a contribution to help an animal shelter or spend hours with them to connect. Animals like humans, need to receive love. There is so much animal cruelty here and around the world. They do not have a voice, but WE can be their voice.

I was inspired by one French actress Brigitte Bardot. The US had Marilyn Monroe, Italy had Sophia Loren, France had Brigitte Bardot. They were not only iconic actresses but the most admired women. Brigitte Bardot did something at the summit of her career that not a lot of celebrities would have done.

She quit her acting career to pursue her life calling, as an animal activist. She became their voice, she shed the light on trading fur, starting with baby seals and showing how they were killed. She became a militant to protect animals in France also around the world. She has created a foundation to continue her life mission as well as animal shelters. She has inspired others to do the same.

You can also look at nature, yes nature. With all the natural and human types of destruction, there is a lot to do. With all the fires, deforestation, hurricanes, we can see that nature has been neglected. We need to help restore the eco balance; plant a tree, organize a cleanup near your home. Give to a foundation that will do good for the earth. The oceans are in needs of our help as well, we are hurting animals and coral with our pollution. From seas of plastics that are floating freely on the oceans, to lose fishing lines that are trapping and killing endangered species.

We have much to do to help this world we are living in. If everyone would do their share whether small or large, we can help to improve our lives as well as the life of everyone on this planet.  We are all in this world together no matter what people think.

    1. It is a great question in regards of the conclusion but if you look closely at your outer condition you can see if you take the time to step back, you are influencing it. If everyone makes a conscious decision to be more mindful and positive, we one step at the time will create what I called the domino effect. Starting to shift our lives and the lives of the people that surround us for the better.
      Yes we wanted or not we are all linked, the only time we feel “me vs them” its when you let your ego lead your life. The ego will create that illusion of separation. Peace Emma
