Success is not always given to you, sometimes you must take detours before you can get there. To succeed you need to keep your eyes on your goal.
I love this mantra, have you ever taken detours to archive your goals?
I always found it interesting when the Universe is guiding us towards them, sometimes we are taking the side road for us to grow.
Life is a journey for us to learn and grow, not all the experiences will be as pleasant as others. When you are listing a goal, do you ever ask yourself or the Universe before you are putting things in motion? “Is it for my highest good and the highest good of everyone?”
Who is actually the driver that choose your goals? Is it your ego doing the talking or is it your vision?
Like the late Steve Jobs mentioned years ago, “it’s the vision that pulls you”. If the ego is the driver, you can hear yourself saying out loud, “I deserve to be a manager, I deserve to win at the lottery etc.”. You can hear in your voice it is not coming from a visionary place but pure vindication. You can also hear the frustration.
How this plays out?
If you ask the Universe to give you something equal or better than what you wish for, you could be surprised how perfect synchronicity can play a major role in your success. Co-creating is one of the best tools I have ever used in my life. I would not be where I am today without it. I always partnered with the Universe. Sometimes the goal I envisioned happens to be different at the end, even better than I had envision to start with.
Interesting enough the journey that took me there wasn’t the one I had in mind at all. it doesn’t mean it was all given to me on a silver platter or, so I wished it had. Including the shorter version of my learning lessons. But the magic of synchronicity made it possible for me at the perfect time (not my own but the Universe’s time) to have what I needed to get to my goal. You know when you are co-creating everything aligns perfectly, you feel like walking on water. You are amazed how easy and effortlessly things are happening.
If the ego is in the driver’s seat you are in for a ride, not in a good way. I have seen individuals doing absolutely horrifying things to get what they wanted. Set up employees to fail, even get them fired or pushed them out of the door in order to get their jobs. The ego will take what is not meant to be yours regardless of the aftermath it will create.
Become an observer and watch those individuals rising quickly in the hierarchy but all sudden they are stuck in their new position. They stall, cannot go up or move out, they are becoming paranoid, running like little generals, worried if someone is going to take their place. They will try to take everyone out if they feel they are a threat to them.
People who are driven by their egos forgot their Karma…. Yes, Karma is always here no matter what you think, sooner or later you will have to pay for what you have done. It doesn’t take long to see them falling from grace. If you also are driven by your ego things will not be happening organically, instead you will have to force your way to get it.
Taking a detour can bring new people on your path that will help you to get closer to your goals. Learn new things about you, sometimes you can get lost in those detours. But the Universe will always be there to give you the push in the right direction.
What detour have you taken lately?
