Moment of reflection

It is a good morning here; fall has taken over. As I am looking out of the window the leaves are changing colors. It has been a tumultuous year with a lot of twists and turns. As I am continuing the shift to reposition myself on a different track. I am looking back at the events that have taken place. From meeting new people, being challenged to revisiting all my dreams. It has been an educational year as well. Learning to go back to basics and stay on the right course. We are a story in motion full of opportunities. …

Leadership mishap

One of the first blogs I wrote was about leadership. It was a few years ago after realizing how much different companies and leaders are operating. Today I am reflecting on a situation that just happened. I had several conversations with business coaches and business owners about leadership. We always talked about the leadership servant role each leader should be to help their team. Somehow when people get promoted or hired to leadership positions not many companies would look at providing those new leaders some support. I had to experience one of the most horrifying conversations I had in a …

The saga of the pups 94

Ah the joy of dealing with the pups. It has been a great September, so far, the kids are enjoying their fun days. While mama is at work the little ones are running free in the backyard. I love to see them adjusting to Loulou. As much as they are doing it, it is time to teach the little one some of the commands. It seems like he had not been taught to eat from his own plate neither to respect Mac & Dot’s plates. He has by now started to adjust to the feeding schedule. He is still impatient, …

Mercury Retrograde

It has been a long couple of weeks, with a lot of ups and downs. Even though we are on our last week of Mercury Retrograde. It has been a little crazy. As usual Mercury will grace us of his presence by making us do an inventory. As the world is changing so are we as we doing our inventory to revisit unfinished business. Closing the doors to anything that is not for our highest good. It is always an interesting ride for sure, keeping an open mind is always best. From people having a bad attitude to electronics not …

The saga of the pups 93

The saga of the pups is still going strong it is early morning Mac & Dottie are sleeping in the living room. Loulou is in the office on his bed sleeping and smiling. He must be dreaming of food…. Yesterday we went to the tennis court. It was the first time for Loulou to enjoy running on the court chasing a ball. Dottie was all about business. The girl was on a mission to exercise and have fun with her own ball while Mac (true to form) was eating the ants. Yes, Mac loves the delicacy of hunting them and eating them. We had …

Our own journey

Within a week we are going to enter into Mercury Retrograde. To be precise it is going to be on the 9th of September. It is going to be an interesting ride again. This time we are moving towards falls and as we are looking at this upcoming season we are entering. We are soon to enter Mercury Retrograde however it is going to be an ideal time to reassess where we are in our own path, our own journey. Time to unload what is not for our highest good and focus our lives on what elevates us. The weather is …

The saga of the pups 92

Too much fun going on with the pups! The tribe has expanded, and I must say after the first week. Mac has grown fond of the little one. He has even started to share his toys with him. The most extraordinary things are that he would never share it with anyone even less with Dottie. She has known his weakness for a very long time and would steal his baby to get him started. Now the little one has learned to steal his toys as well! When Mac decided to take it back, the tornado comes around faster than the …

The saga of the pups: the meeting

I opened the door and was greeted by Dottie; she was moving her tails so fast while moving her entire body. Mac was coming towards me happy like a good boy, it was now time for them to meet their new baby boy. He was presented to them by being in my arms first, we wanted to make sure, since he is such a little peanut, Mac or Dottie, in their overly exciting moment, would not hurt him inadvertently. Dottie was so happy to meet him. She was shaking her tail so quickly while Mac tried to communicate with his …

The saga of the pups: Home

As the day went so the transport was coming closer it was slowly moving on the map. There was an hour delay before they arrived. We had the time to check the city. As the time came closer, we were back at the pickup location. Other cars started to arrive waiting for the transporter as well. As I spotted the van arriving, I felt a deep emotion embodying me. I could not help but tear up as the van drove majestically into the parking lot. I could see the face of the driver. She was all smiles, I greeted her …

The saga of the pups: the trip

Ah what a journey to get the latest addition of the Mac & Dottie show. The pups were back home over the weekend being cared for by mommy Molly. Yes, their other mama was in the house while I was in Wisconsin. I was gone to pick up the latest member of the tribe Lill’Peanut, yes, he was just renamed because the little one is only 16 lbs and next to Mac & Dottie is the size of a peanut. The transport was arranged, and we had to be available when it would arrive. First, they talked about Illinois which …
